Samsung S23 family :
The date is set! Samsung is ready to begin 2023 with a bang as the South-Korean tech giant on Wednesday confirmed that it will be launching the most anticipated Galaxy S23 series that will arrive at the Unpacked Event.
Samsung officially announced that it will hold its annual Galaxy Unpacked launch event on February 1, where the tech giant is expected to introduce the all-new Galaxy S23 line-up of its flagship smartphones.
This will be the first in-person edition of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020. The launch event will be live streamed on Samsung’s official website.
It's an exciting news as all eyes are on the upcoming Galaxy S23 series which has been making a lot of noise on the Internet for the last couple of months.
According to a report in 9To5Google, Samsung may feature an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset on the Galaxy S23 smartphone which will most likely come in three colours– Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, Botanic Green, and Phantom Black.
But the Galaxy S23 line-up isn’t the only thing on Samsung’s mind. As per previous reports, Samsung will unveil its next-generation Galaxy laptops alongside the upcoming Galaxy S23 series at the Unpacked event scheduled for February 1.
With the launch, Samsung is expected to revamp its Galaxy Book laptop line-up with improved hardware specifications and better software. Though not much has been revealed about the upcoming Galaxy laptops, we can expect the Galaxy Books to function on Intel’s 13th Gen processors.
Iqoo 11 :
iQOO had launched the iQOO 11, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in India, as it had promised. The phone pack a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ Samsung E6 AMOLED curved screen with support for 10-bit color, peak brightness of 1800 nits, variable refresh rate of 144Hz with LTPO 4.0 tech, 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1440Hz PWM dimming.
iQOO said that it uses self-developed LTPO high-refresh technology, which can enable 60Hz and 120Hz, two refresh rates on one screen at the same time. It is the first phone in India to feature such display specs. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is also the first in India.
The phone has 24768 mm² total heat dissipation area in which 4013 mm² is the VC cooling area. The phone has an aviation-grade aluminum middle frame. There is self-developed intelligent temperature sensing algorithm combined with temperature sensors can detect and monitor the temperature in real time at different locations and at different times.
It comes in 8GB and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM option with another 8GB of virtual RAM with RAM expansion. The company says that the phone can keep 43 active apps in the background.
The phone runs Android 13 with Funtouch OS on top. Like the previous flagship, the iQOO 11 will get 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
It has a 50MP Samsung GN5 main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide and a 13MP 2X portrait camera. It has 4K Super Night video, Zero shutter motion snapshot and more features. There is vivo’s self-developed V2 chip. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
The iQOO 11 comes in Alpha with a glass back and Legend with the Silicon leather back and design inspired by BMW Motorsport, just like the previous model. It is priced at Rs. 59,999 for 8GB+256GB and the 16GB+256GB costs Rs. 64,999.
